Attending Meetings
The Township Committee meetings have returned to the Committee chambers located at 574 Valley Street (Town Hall). The public may choose to attend in person or view and participate via ZOOM, as noted in the public notice below.
Public Notice
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that in compliance with 'Open Public Meetings Act' of the State of New Jersey, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq., the Maplewood Township Committee does hereby notify the public that Regular Meetings of said Committee will be held at 7:00 P.M. in Closed Session and at 7:30 P.M. in Regular Session, for the agenda portion of the meeting, prevailing time, either in the Conference Room (Closed Session) and the Township Committee Room (Regular Session) of the Maplewood Municipal Building, 574 Valley Street, Maplewood, New Jersey, and/or via a videotelephony-teleconference.
PLEASE BE ADVISED meetings are open to the public, and formal action will be taken. The public is invited to utilize a videotelephony-teleconference service and/or another designated medium. Information regarding means to access the meeting via such technology can be obtained from the Township website and/ or the official Township social media account(s). Unintended technical difficulties, unforeseen circumstances, or equipment problems (such as hardware failures or software malfunctions) may occur, making it problematic to continue the meeting on a platform. If such an impediment arises, it is recommended that members of the public access the event by means of an alternate medium. Meetings will continue as long as it is safe to proceed with normal business.
In accordance with New Jersey Public Law 2025, Chapter 72 (S-4654/A-5878), the Township of Maplewood now publishes all required public notices on this dedicated webpage.
